At Proper Food, we make it a cinch to eat well on the run. We craft our fare by hand fresh every morning the only we know how – with whole, local ingredients sliced, chopped and seasoned with care. Nothing phony or factory-made. Just good, proper fare that’s packed and ready to go.
Proper Food launched in San Francisco in 2014 and has rapidly grown to nine locations in downtown San Francisco, earning accolades from customers, food critics and local media. We cook all our meals from scratch each morning in our commissary kitchen and deliver them to our stores pre-packed and ready to go. All unsold meals are donated to local food banks each day.
We're looking for full-time cashiers to work 35-40 hours/week.
Right now, we’re in need of the following shifts:
Monday – Friday (5 days/week): 5:45am – 2:15pm
Monday – Friday (5 days/week): 6:30am – 3:00pm
Monday – Friday (5 days/week): 10:00am-7:00pm
Maintain a high standard of customer service throughout the day
Process customer orders through POS
Heat food, brew coffee, pour soup
Merchandise & stock food throughout the day
Fulfill online & phone orders
Execute daily & weekly cleaning tasks
Delivering catering orders by foot
